HealthCare Connections personnel meet or surpass all licensing standards. We
screen all applicants to ensure only qualified, responsible employees are
provided to our clients. HealthCare Connections scrutinizes all resumes and
application it receives. From the received resumes and application, HealthCare
Connections continues to evaluate potential applicants, to determine those who
meet its standards.
All field staff employees are required to have:
- A minimum of one year’s recent experience in addition to education and/or
training.
- Previous work history is verifies. All applicants are tested and
specific skills and competencies are evaluated.
- Each classification,certification and/or license credentials are examined
and verified by the state licensing board at the time of application and
at each renewal date thereafter.
- Applicants are also screened with the Health and Human Services, Office of the
Inspector General as well as the Excluded Parties List System, to ensure they
are not an excluded provider.
- All employees have been verified and documentation obtained regarding eligibility
to work in the United States (I-9 and W-4 requirements).
- Applicants are screened using the National Sex Offender Registry.
- Pre-employment drug screening with negative results, as well as Reasonable Cause
Testing and Post Accident Testing.
- Criminal background checks from all residential history for the past ten (
10) years, additionally, Douglas and Sarpy Counties in Nebraska and all counties in
Iowa are also investigated regardless of residential history.
- Health Screenings are performed upon hire of new employees and yearly thereafter.
Tuberculosis (TB) screenings are performed
yearly and/or negative chest x-ray every two years-for TB testing converted
employees Nebraska/Iowa State Abuse and Neglect Registry.

- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications as well as all other required certifications for specialty areas such as ACLS, NALS, PALS…
- In addition, all employees are required to have yearly health screenings and tuberculosis testing.
